Surveyor Assistant

As a Surveyor Assistant, you will work alongside experienced surveyors to assist in the planning and execution of land surveys in the city of Medina. Your main responsibilities will include setting up survey equipment, taking measurements, and recording data. This role is suitable for English-speaking individuals without prior experience in surveying, as full training will be provided. The salary for this contract position is $1700 per month and includes accommodation. Visa sponsorship is also available for foreign applicants. This job is open to all genders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist senior surveyors in conducting land surveys
- Set up and operate survey equipment such as GPS receivers, total stations, and levels
- Take accurate measurements and record data using appropriate software
- Help prepare maps and reports based on collected data
- Maintain survey equipment and ensure it is in good working condition
- Follow safety protocols while working on-site
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project goals are met

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Physically fit and able to carry out physical tasks such as lifting equipment or walking long distances
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to land surveying
- Ability to work well in a team environment

Preferred:
- Prior experience working as a land surveyor or assistant
- Basic knowledge of surveying principles and techniques
- Familiarity with software such as AutoCAD or GIS
- Valid driver's license
