Instrument Technician



We are seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Khasab, Egypt. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various instruments and equipment used in industrial processes.

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair a variety of instruments such as pressure gauges, thermometers, flow meters, level sensors, and control valves
- Troubleshoot issues with instruments and equipment using diagnostic tools and manuals
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as calibration and testing to ensure accuracy of instruments
- Read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and manuals to identify parts and components needed for repairs
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and report any issues or concerns to the appropriate personnel
- Stay updated on new technologies and advancements in instrumentation to improve efficiency and productivity
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times while working with hazardous materials or in potentially dangerous environments

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education required; Vocational/Technical certificate or degree in instrumentation preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting
- Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, control systems, pneumatic systems, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), DCS (Distributed Control Systems), HMI (Human Machine Interface), SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition)
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
- Good communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
