Pastry Chef at a Five-Star Hotel in Muharraq, Bahrain
We are searching for a skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our team at a luxurious five-star hotel in Muharraq, Bahrain. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of desserts, pastries, and breads for our hotel guests. This is a full-time position with a monthly salary of 1400$.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and create new dessert menus that follow current food trends and meet the dietary needs of our guests
- Prepare and bake various pastries, including cakes, tarts, cookies, and breads
- Decorate and present desserts in an attractive manner
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs
- Maintain high standards of food presentation and quality
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh and stored properly
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- Formal culinary training or degree in pastry arts preferred
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, flavor combinations, and industry trends
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen
- Excellent communication skills (English proficiency is preferred)
