Job Title: Senior Librarian

We are in search of a highly qualified Senior Librarian to join our team at our library in Dar Kulaib. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in library science, with experience managing and organizing a wide range of materials. They will also possess excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as the ability to multitask and work independently.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain library collections, including selecting, acquiring, cataloging, and weeding materials
- Plan and implement innovative programs and events for library patrons
- Assist patrons with research inquiries and provide guidance on how to access resources
- Train and supervise other library staff members
- Oversee the daily operations of the library, including circulation, shelving, and maintaining a welcoming environment for patrons
- Keep up-to-date with current trends in library science and implement new technologies as appropriate

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience working in a library setting
- Strong knowledge of cataloging standards and classification systems
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Proficiency with library databases, research tools, and other technology used in libraries
- Prior experience managing or supervising others is preferred
