Architectural Technologist - Contract Position (Visa Sponsorship Available)



We are currently seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist to join our team in Remish. This is a contract position that offers visa sponsorship for non-national candidates. This is an urgent job opportunity, so we are looking for someone who can start immediately.

As an Architectural Technologist, you will be responsible for supporting the design and production of architectural projects. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and other professionals to create technical drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with the development of architectural designs, including drafting plans, elevations, sections, and details
- Create 3D models and renderings using Revit or other software tools
- Conduct site visits to gather measurements and assess existing conditions
- Collaborate with project team members to ensure coordination of design intent and technical details
- Prepare construction documents and specifications for permit applications
- Review shop drawings and submittals for accuracy and compliance with design intent

Requirements:

- Degree or diploma in Architectural Technology or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as an Architectural Technologist in a professional setting
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or other relevant software
- Strong understanding of building codes and regulations in Canada (experience working on Canadian projects preferred)
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment

This is a contract position with a competitive salary of $1700 per month. Please note that this position does not include accommodation. Visa sponsorship is available for non-national candidates.
