Seamstress in Nairobi - Indian Nationals Preferred



We are seeking a skilled Seamstress to join our team in Nairobi. As a Seamstress, you will be responsible for creating high-quality garments from scratch, altering existing clothing, and repairing damaged garments. This position requires attention to detail, strong sewing skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

- Measure and cut fabric according to patterns or customer specifications
- Sew garments using various types of stitches and techniques
- Alter clothing to fit customers' body measurements
- Repair damaged clothing by patching or mending tears and holes
- Ensure all finished products meet quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Seamstress or similar role
- Proficient in using sewing machines and hand sewing tools
- Familiarity with different types of fabrics and their characteristics
- Ability to read and interpret patterns and customer specifications accurately
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Good time-management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines

Salary: 1500$ per month

Location: Nairobi, Kenya (Indian nationals preferred)

Working Hours: Part-time (flexible schedule)
