Information Security Analyst

As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for protecting the organization's sensitive data and networks from cyber threats. Your main duties will include monitoring and analyzing security systems, conducting risk assessments, and implementing security measures to protect against potential vulnerabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze security systems to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities
- Conduct regular risk assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of existing security measures
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols to safeguard sensitive data and information
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure proper implementation of security measures and protocols
- Perform regular audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Investigate any security breaches or incidents and provide recommendations for preventing future occurrences
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in information security technology and make recommendations for improvements within the organization

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in information security analysis or a similar role
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure, cloud-based systems, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, anti-virus software, etc.
- Knowledge of current industry standards such as ISO 27001/27002, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, etc.
- Experience conducting risk assessments and developing security policies/procedures
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically under pressure
- Attention to detail with strong analytical skills
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
