Executive Chef - Indian Cuisine


We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef specializing in Indian cuisine to join our team in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. As the head chef, you will be responsible for creating and overseeing all aspects of our Indian menu, as well as managing the kitchen staff and ensuring high quality and timely food production. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1200 per month.

Requirements:
- Must be of Indian nationality with fluent English language skills
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel
- Expertise in creating and executing authentic Indian dishes using traditional cooking techniques and ingredients
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage kitchen staff and collaborate with other departments
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
- Experience in menu planning, cost control, inventory management, and maintaining food safety standards
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain an innovative menu featuring authentic Indian dishes that appeal to our diverse customer base
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, portion control, plating, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Monitor food quality throughout service to ensure consistency and make necessary adjustments as needed
- Collaborate with other departments such as purchasing, front of house staff, and management to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction
- Keep track of inventory levels for all ingredients used in the Indian menu items, place orders as needed while controlling costs
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment following health codes and regulations at all times
- Conduct regular meetings with kitchen staff to review performance goals, address concerns or issues, provide feedback or training opportunities
