Head Baker


As the Head Baker, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our bakery located in Al Buraymi, Oman. We are looking for an experienced baker with a passion for creating delicious baked goods to lead our team and maintain our high-quality standards.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise all bakery staff, including bakers, pastry chefs, and assistants
- Create and maintain the bakery's production schedule to ensure timely delivery of products
- Develop new recipes and improve existing ones to consistently deliver high-quality baked goods
- Oversee inventory management and ordering of ingredients and supplies
- Train new staff members on baking techniques and safety procedures
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards at all times
- Monitor product quality and make necessary adjustments to maintain consistency
- Collaborate with other departments to create speciality items for events or holidays

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a baker, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
- Extensive knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Ability to create new recipes and adjust existing ones as needed
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team
- Excellent time-management skills to meet production deadlines
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Physically able to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
- Proficient in English (knowledge of Arabic is a plus)
