Information Security Analyst

We are hiring an experienced Information Security Analyst to join our team in Vianden. In this role, you will be responsible for protecting our company's sensitive information and data from potential cyber threats. You will be responsible for implementing security measures, conducting risk assessments, and identifying vulnerabilities in our systems. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in information security and a strong understanding of network security protocols. This is a contract position with a salary of 1200$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities
- Implement and maintain security protocols, such as firewalls, encryption methods, and access controls
- Monitor network activity to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Investigate any reported or suspected security breaches and take necessary action to resolve them
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in the event of a cyber attack
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology to recommend improvements for our security systems

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in information security or a similar role
- Strong understanding of network security protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs
- Familiarity with risk assessment tools and techniques
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certifications such as CISSP or CISM
- Experience with penetration testing tools
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards (e.g. GDPR)
