Shaper/Designer



As a Shaper/Designer, you will be responsible for creating and shaping various materials such as wood, metal, or plastic into unique and functional products. This role requires a keen eye for detail and creativity to bring ideas to life. Working in Nairobi, Kenya, you will collaborate with a team of craftsmen to produce high-quality products that meet client specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Use specialized tools and techniques to shape materials into desired forms
- Read and interpret blueprints or design sketches to create accurate shapes
- Select the appropriate materials and tools for each project
- Ensure all finished products meet quality standards and client requirements
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot any issues during the shaping process
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency
- Continuously develop new techniques and processes to improve productivity

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Shaper or similar role
- Proficient in using various shaping tools such as saws, sanders, grinders, etc.
- Knowledge of different types of materials and their properties
- Ability to read blueprints and design sketches
- Strong attention to detail
- Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box
- Good communication skills
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects

Salary: $1400 per month

Working Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday from 8am - 5pm
