Baker - Nizwa, Oman



Our busy bakery in Nizwa is seeking an experienced Baker to join our team. As a Baker, you will be responsible for creating delicious and high-quality baked goods for our customers. We are looking for a talented individual who is passionate about baking and has a creative flair.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked goods according to recipes
- Ensure all products are consistently of high quality and meet our standards
- Keep track of inventory and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
- Assist with the development of new recipes and products
- Train and supervise assistant bakers when necessary
- Adhere to all food safety guidelines and regulations

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Baker in a busy bakery or restaurant setting
- Knowledge of baking techniques, measurements, and ingredients
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must be physically fit as this role requires standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy objects

Education:
A degree or diploma in Baking or Pastry Arts is preferred but not required.

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1400$ per month.

Location:
This position is located in Nizwa, the cultural capital city of Oman. It offers a unique blend of modern amenities with traditional Omani culture. The city boasts beautiful landscapes, historical sites, and friendly locals.

Note:
Preference will be given to Indian nationals or those with experience working with Indian cuisine.
