Seamstress - Entry Level



As a Seamstress, you will be responsible for creating high-quality garments and products according to specifications and designs. Your main duties will include measuring and cutting fabrics, sewing pieces together, and adding finishing touches such as buttons and zippers. This is an entry-level position, ideal for candidates who are passionate about sewing and looking to gain experience in the field.

Responsibilities:

- Measure and cut fabrics according to patterns
- Sew pieces together using various techniques such as hand stitching or using a sewing machine
- Add finishing touches to garments such as buttons, zippers, or hems
- Ensure all finished products meet quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety guidelines at all times

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of sewing techniques and equipment
- Ability to read and follow patterns
- Detail-oriented with strong hand-eye coordination
- Good time management skills to meet deadlines
- Willingness to learn new techniques and improve skills

Preferred Requirements:

- Experience working as a seamstress or in a similar role
- Knowledge of different types of fabrics and their properties
- Ability to operate industrial sewing machines

Salary: Starting at $1700 per month (Negotiable based on experience)
