Indian Pastry Chef


We are in search of a skilled Indian Pastry Chef to join our team in Al Ahmadi. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and creating a variety of desserts, pastries, and breads. Your creativity and attention to detail will be showcased in our menu offerings, as well as your ability to consistently deliver high-quality and delicious treats. The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a Pastry Chef and be familiar with Indian pastry techniques and flavors. Responsibilities:
- Prepare various types of pastries, desserts, and breads according to recipes
- Decorate pastries using different techniques such as piping, glazing, and sculpting
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards
- Monitor inventory of ingredients and place orders when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen at all times
- Train and supervise junior pastry staff members
- Collaborate with other chefs to develop new menu items
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- Knowledge of Indian pastry techniques and flavors is preferred
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Creative mindset with strong attention to detail
- Strong understanding of food safety practices
- Ability to work well both independently and in a team setting
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree is a plus

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1000$ per month for this position.
