Excavator Operator


We are currently hiring an experienced Excavator Operator for our construction company in Vianden. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to complete excavation projects safely and efficiently. This is a full-time position with a salary of $900 per week.

Responsibilities:
- Operate excavators to dig trenches, foundations, and holes according to project specifications
- Safely load and unload materials such as dirt, rocks, and debris
- Maintain equipment by conducting regular inspections and performing necessary maintenance
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe work environment
- Communicate with other team members to coordinate tasks and complete projects on time
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating equipment on public roads

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating excavators in a construction setting
- Valid operator's license for heavy machinery
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects as needed
- Ability to read blueprints and follow project plans
- Good communication skills and ability to work well with others in a team environment

Preferred Skills:
- Experience operating different types of excavators (e.g. mini excavators, backhoes)
- Ability to speak English fluently (other languages are a plus)
- Previous experience in a similar role or in the construction industry
