Indian Pastry Chef

As an Indian Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of delectable desserts and pastries that reflect the rich and diverse flavors of India. Your creative flair and passion for pastry-making will shine through as you develop new recipes and techniques to delight our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and prepare a wide range of Indian-inspired desserts, including traditional sweets, fusion desserts, and modern twists on classic dishes
- Source high-quality ingredients from local markets and suppliers
- Develop new recipes and adapt existing ones to meet dietary restrictions or preferences
- Ensure efficient use of ingredients to minimize waste
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked work station
- Comply with food safety regulations at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a pastry chef in a professional kitchen setting
- In-depth knowledge of Indian cuisine and traditional desserts
- Ability to create visually appealing presentations
- Strong time-management skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with team members
- Flexibility to work weekends or evenings when required
Salary:
