Typesetter (English Speaking)
Location: Clairvaux, France


We are seeking a skilled Typesetter to join our publishing team in Clairvaux. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text and images into visually appealing layouts for books, magazines, and other publications. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:
- Review written material and determine the best layout for printing or digital publication
- Select appropriate fonts, colors, and sizes for text and images
- Format text and images using desktop publishing software
- Ensure consistency in style, design, and formatting throughout the publication
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and other team members to meet project requirements
- Make necessary adjustments to layout based on feedback from clients or team members
- Follow industry standards for printing and digital publication

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a typesetter or similar role
- Solid understanding of typography principles
- Proficiency in desktop publishing software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
- Strong communication skills
- Fluency in English (both written and verbal)

Salary: $1600 per month
