Preservation Architect
We are hiring a Preservation Architect to join our team in Wiltz, Luxembourg. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings, structures, and sites. Your duties will include conducting research on the history and condition of buildings, developing preservation plans, and overseeing restoration projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Knowledge of preservation techniques and materials
- Experience in historical research and documentation
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and project management abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities:
- Conducting historical research on buildings, structures, and sites
- Assessing the condition of historic properties and identifying areas for preservation or restoration
- Developing preservation plans that take into account the building's historical significance and current use
- Collaborating with contractors, engineers, and other professionals to ensure preservation work is done correctly and within budget
- Overseeing restoration projects from start to finish, including managing timelines, budgets, and resources
- Documenting all preservation work for future reference
This is an urgent position with a competitive salary of $1300 per month. We offer a free visa and ticket for foreign applicants. English proficiency is not required for this position.
