Merchandiser for a Canadian Retail Company in Sofia, Bulgaria



We are hiring a Merchandiser to join our Canadian retail company in Sofia, Bulgaria. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for planning and implementing merchandising strategies to drive sales and profitability for our company. Your main objective will be to ensure that our products are visually appealing and strategically placed to attract customers.

Responsibilities:

- Create and implement effective merchandising strategies to increase sales and revenue
- Analyze sales data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement
- Plan and execute product displays that are visually appealing and aligned with our brand image
- Work closely with the buying team to ensure timely delivery of products
- Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for restocking or discontinuing products
- Collaborate with store managers to create attractive displays that highlight promotions or new products
- Conduct regular store visits to ensure proper execution of merchandising plans
- Train store staff on visual merchandising techniques and standards
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a Merchandiser or in a similar role is required
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and make sound recommendations based on insights
- Creative mindset with an eye for detail and design
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of retail industry trends, customer behavior, and visual merchandising techniques is preferred
- Valid biometric passport is required

This position offers a competitive salary of $1500 per month, without accommodation. It is suitable for men who meet the nationality preference of being Canadian.
