Entry-Level Librarian



A reputable library in Ufa is seeking an Entry-Level Librarian to join our team. This position is open to individuals of any nationality, with a preference for Indian candidates. As an English-speaking library, proficiency in the language is required.

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1300 per month for this position.

The role will be based in Ufa, a vibrant city located in central Russia known for its cultural attractions and educational institutions.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Fluent in English
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Passion for books and literature

Responsibilities:
- Assist patrons with locating materials and using library resources
- Catalogue new materials using the library's classification system
- Manage circulation desk operations, including checking out materials and collecting fines
- Create engaging displays and programs to promote library services
- Answer reference questions and provide information on library policies and procedures
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the library space
