Librarian Assistant


We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Librarian Assistant to join our team in Ufa, Russia. As a Librarian Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the librarian in managing the library's collection, providing excellent customer service to library patrons, and maintaining the overall organization of the library.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with the acquisition, cataloging, and processing of new materials
- Help maintain accurate records of library materials and circulation
- Provide excellent customer service by answering patron inquiries and assisting with locating materials
- Assist with creating displays and promoting library events
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the library shelves and work areas
- Monitor and manage overdue materials and fines
- Provide basic computer assistance to patrons
- Conduct basic reference searches using library resources
- Assist with interlibrary loan services
- Attend training sessions and stay updated on library policies and procedures

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred
- Previous experience working in a library or similar setting is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to work well with diverse groups of people
- Basic computer skills, including knowledge of MS Office programs
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Russian is preferred but not required

Salary:
This is a full-time position offering a salary of $1500 per month.

Location:
The job is located in Ufa, Russia. While preference will be given to Indian candidates who are fluent in English, all qualified applicants are encouraged to apply.
