Crane Operator



We are currently hiring a Crane Operator to join our team in Nizwa, Oman. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of cranes to lift, move, position and place materials and equipment on construction sites. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for operating heavy machinery and looking to start their career in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of cranes including mobile, tower, crawler and overhead cranes
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine appropriate crane set-up and operation procedures
- Inspect crane equipment before use and perform routine maintenance as needed
- Safely lift, move and position materials and equipment using the crane according to project specifications
- Communicate effectively with ground crew and other operators to ensure safety during lifting operations
- Monitor weather conditions and make necessary adjustments to crane operation as needed
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities including materials lifted, hours worked, etc.
- Follow all safety regulations and procedures at all times

Requirements:
- Must be an Indian national with English speaking skills
- No prior experience required as on-the-job training will be provided
- Must have a valid visa allowing work in Oman or willing to obtain one on their own expenses
- Ability to work at heights and in adverse weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail
- Physical strength and stamina
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends if necessary
