Chef de Cuisine

A reputable restaurant in Nizwa is seeking a talented and experienced Chef de Cuisine to join our team. We are looking for a passionate individual who has a strong background in Indian cuisine and can bring their skills and creativity to our kitchen. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience working as a Chef, preferably in a high-end establishment.

Responsibilities:
- Create and design Indian-inspired menus that reflect our restaurant's concept
- Oversee all aspects of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure high-quality dishes are being produced
- Monitor food costs and maintain inventory levels
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with management to plan special events or promotions featuring Indian cuisine

Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience working as a Chef, preferably with a focus on Indian cuisine
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification is preferred
- Strong knowledge of Indian spices, ingredients, and cooking techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1200$ per month.

Location:
This role is based in Nizwa, Oman.
