Barista for Cafe in Ar-Ruwais (Contract)

We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team at a popular cafe in Ar-Ruwais. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Barista and be able to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages according to customer preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe counter and equipment
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and handling payments
- Introduce new menu items to customers and promote daily specials
- Ensure all food safety guidelines are followed when handling food and beverages
- Keep track of inventory levels and place orders for supplies when needed
- Train new staff members on proper beverage preparation techniques

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism
- Knowledge of different types of coffee beans, brewing methods, and latte art is an asset
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 30 lbs.
- Biometric passport is required for this contract job

Salary: 1000$ per month
