Typesetter for English Language Publishing Company in Dickirch, Kenya


We are hiring a skilled Typesetter to join our English language publishing company in Dickirch, Kenya. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text and images in various publications such as books, magazines, and newspapers. Your attention to detail and experience with typesetting software will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy and consistency of our published materials.

Responsibilities:
- Format text and images according to layout specifications provided by editors or designers
- Check for spelling and grammatical errors before finalizing layouts
- Collaborate with editors and designers to ensure the layout meets the publication's style guidelines
- Make necessary adjustments to ensure proper alignment and spacing of text and images
- Use typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign to create digital layouts
- Prepare final files for printing or digital publishing platforms

Requirements:
- Proficient in using typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Excellent attention to detail and strong proofreading skills
- Experience working with print production processes
- Knowledge of design principles and typography preferred but not required
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1100$ per month.
