Information Technology Manager vacancy in Umm-Salal Qatar

IT Manager


We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled IT Manager to join our team in Umm-Salal. As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our company's information technology systems and operations. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1000$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IT strategies and policies to support the company's overall goals and objectives
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the IT department, including budgeting, resource planning, and staffing
- Ensure the security and integrity of the company's data, networks, systems, and applications
- Oversee the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware and software systems
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies and make recommendations for their implementation to improve efficiency and productivity
- Collaborate with other departments to identify their technology needs and provide solutions to meet those needs
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for hardware, software, and services
- Train employees on how to use new technologies effectively

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role as an IT Manager or similar position
- Extensive knowledge of network infrastructure, database management, security protocols, and other IT-related concepts
- Proficient in programming languages such as Java or C++, as well as operating systems like Windows or Linux
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team of IT professionals
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic (preferred)
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Other requirements:
This is a full-time position that requires candidates who are currently residing in Umm-Salal. Accommodation will not be provided for this role. We are looking for someone who can join our team immediately, so this position is urgent.
