Crane Operator
We are currently hiring for a Crane Operator to join our team in Dickirch, Canada. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of cranes to lift, move, position, and place materials and equipment on construction sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain various types of cranes, including mobile, tower, and overhead cranes
- Inspect cranes before and after use to ensure proper functioning
- Operate crane controls to lift, move, position, and place materials and equipment
- Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure the safety of yourself and others on the job site
- Communicate effectively with other workers on the job site to ensure safe movement of materials
- Perform routine maintenance on cranes as needed
- Keep detailed records of crane operations and maintenance activities
Requirements:
- Must have a valid crane operator license or certification
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating cranes in a construction setting
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals and diagrams related to crane operation
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions
- Strong communication skills in English (French language skills are an asset)
- Must be authorized to work in Canada (visa sponsorship is not available)
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1300 per week for this position.
Contract Length:
This is a full-time contract position with the potential for permanent employment based on performance.
Location:
This job is located in Dickirch, Canada. Relocation assistance may be provided for successful candidates who are not currently located in Canada.
