Pastry Chef
As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing high-quality desserts and pastries for our restaurant in Medina. Your main duties will include designing new menu items, managing inventory and ordering supplies, and training junior pastry staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and create new desserts and pastries for our menu
- Ensure high-quality presentation of all pastry items
- Manage inventory and order necessary supplies
- Train junior pastry staff on techniques and recipes
- Oversee the production of all pastry items in a timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry kitchen
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with other chefs to create new menu concepts
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- Degree or certification in culinary arts or relevant field preferred
- Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop unique dessert ideas
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train junior staff members
- Excellent time management skills
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1600$ per month. Salary is negotiable based on experience.
Location:
This position is located in Medina, Saudi Arabia. We are open to candidates from different nationalities as long as they have the necessary work permits.
Language Requirements:
This position requires fluency in English. Knowledge of Arabic would be an advantage but not a requirement.
