IT Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team in Wiltz. As an IT Support Specialist, you will provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of computer systems and networks, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users. This is a part-time position with a salary of 1200$, with the potential for full-time employment in the future. For foreign candidates, we offer visa sponsorship and accommodation options if needed. This is an urgent position, so we are looking for candidates who can start immediately.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for computer systems, software, and hardware
- Troubleshoot issues reported by users and provide timely resolutions
- Install and configure computer systems, software applications, printers, and other devices
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
- Maintain accurate records of all support activities
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users to resolve issues
- Train new users on basic system functions and troubleshoot any user errors or issues
- Keep up-to-date with new technologies in the field of IT support

Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, hardware, and software applications
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively to find solutions
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Attention to detail and ability to document technical procedures accurately
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)
- Experience with remote desktop support tools
- Familiarity with cloud-based systems and virtual environments
