Pastry Chef
As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of desserts, pastries and other baked goods. Your role will involve developing new recipes, managing inventory and ordering supplies, as well as ensuring that all food safety and sanitation standards are met. You will also be responsible for training and supervising other kitchen staff, as well as maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Pastry Chef
- Knowledge of different baking techniques and pastry decorating skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and creativity
- Excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with food safety regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities:
- Creating new dessert and pastry recipes
- Maintaining inventory levels and ordering supplies when needed
- Ensuring all food safety and sanitation standards are met
- Training and supervising other kitchen staff in pastry techniques
- Collaborating with the head chef to develop new menu items
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Ensuring quality control of all pastries before they are served to customers
- Communicating with front-of-house staff about any special orders or dietary restrictions
Salary: $1400 per month
Location: Isa Town, Bahrain
