Restaurant Manager
The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction. They will be responsible for managing staff, creating work schedules, and overseeing inventory and budget management. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in the food and beverage industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant
- Ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction
- Manage staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Create work schedules and assign duties to staff members
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
- Develop and implement cost-saving strategies to maximize profits
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant
- Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain efficient operations
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role
- Extensive knowledge of food and beverage industry best practices
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in budget management and inventory control
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Customer service-oriented mindset
Salary: $1300 per month.
Location: Nairobi, Kenya (Preference for Malayalees or Egyptians)
