Restaurant Manager
We are hiring a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant in Nairobi. The ideal candidate will be a natural leader with excellent communication and management skills, as well as a strong understanding of the food and beverage industry.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the restaurant, including but not limited to, staffing, training, budgeting, inventory management, and customer service.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and improve overall business performance.
- Create and maintain a positive working environment for all staff members.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues in a timely manner.
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies when needed.
- Develop relationships with suppliers to ensure quality products at competitive prices.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for staff members and provide coaching and feedback as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in restaurant management or related role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the industry.
- Experience in budgeting, inventory management, and cost control techniques.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be fluent in English.
Salary:
$1100 per month (negotiable based on experience)
