Indian Executive Chef in Jerusalem
We are hiring an experienced Indian Executive Chef to join our team in Jerusalem. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, managing a team of chefs and ensuring high-quality and authentic Indian cuisine is served to our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and update menus with traditional and modern Indian dishes
- Train and manage a team of chefs to ensure consistency in food preparation and presentation
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain food quality and safety standards
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Create new dishes and recipes to keep the menu fresh and exciting
- Collaborate with other departments to plan special events or promotions
- Manage food costs and budget effectively
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant or hotel
- Extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine, ingredients, and cooking techniques
- Creativity in developing new dishes while also maintaining traditional flavors
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with other departments, suppliers, and staff members from different backgrounds
-Nationality preference for Indian candidates but open to other nationalities as well
-Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
-Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
-Salary range: $900 per month
-Full-time position based in Jerusalem with free visa sponsorship available for the right candidate.
