Sous Chef - Fine Dining Restaurant
We are a renowned fine dining restaurant in Vilnius, seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our team. As the Sous Chef, you will work closely with our Executive Chef to ensure the highest quality of food and service for our guests. Responsibilities:
- Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning and development, ensuring creativity and seasonality are reflected in all dishes
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of hygiene and safety are maintained at all times
- Monitor inventory levels and order ingredients as needed
- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction
- Continuously strive for improvement in quality, presentation, and consistency of dishes
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a fine dining restaurant
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff
- Creative flair with a passion for creating exceptional dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and international cuisines
- Fluent in English (Lithuanian language skills preferred)
- Must have legal authorization to work in Vilnius without visa sponsorship
