Pastry Chef - Culinary Arts and Dessert Creation Specialist



We are seeking a skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our team at a high-end restaurant in Utena, Lithuania. As the Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of dessert creation and presentation. Your main duties will include designing new dessert menus, supervising the pastry team, and ensuring that all desserts are prepared to perfection.

Responsibilities:
- Design and create new dessert menus that are both visually appealing and delicious
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of all desserts, including pastries, cakes, and other sweet treats
- Train and supervise the pastry team to ensure high-quality standards are met
- Order necessary ingredients and supplies for dessert preparation
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace
- Monitor inventory levels and control food waste
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with other chefs and kitchen staff to coordinate dessert orders with main courses

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of culinary arts, baking techniques, flavor combinations, and food presentation
- Creativity in designing new desserts that will satisfy customers' palates
- Ability to manage a team effectively while maintaining a positive work environment
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to adapt to changing menus or recipes as needed

Salary: 1100$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

City: Utena, Lithuania (open to Nepali nationals or foreigners with valid work permits)
