Mason - Construction Worker (Filipino Nationals Preferred)


We are a construction company based in Ar Rumaythiyah, seeking a skilled Mason to join our team of experienced construction workers. As a Mason, you will be responsible for laying and repairing brick, block, stone, and other similar materials to construct or repair walls, partitions, arches, fireplaces, and other structures. You will also be responsible for mixing mortar and grout, ensuring the correct ratios for different types of bricks and blocks.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience as a Mason in the construction industry. However, we also welcome fresh graduates who are eager to learn and work hard. This is a full-time job with an attractive salary of 1300$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark surfaces to lay out work according to blueprints or drawings
- Cut or saw bricks or blocks to desired size using hand tools or power tools
- Lay bricks or blocks in rows, patterns or designs using mortar as a bonding agent
- Fill expansion joints with the appropriate sealant materials
- Repair and maintain existing masonry structures such as walls, fireplaces, chimneys etc.
- Ensure that all safety precautions are followed while working on site

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Mason in the construction industry (fresh graduates welcome)
- Ability to read blueprints and drawings
- Knowledge of mixing ratios for different types of mortar and grout
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail

Working Hours:
This is a full-time job with working hours from 8 am to 5 pm from Sunday to Thursday. Overtime may be required depending on project deadlines.
