Finisher

As a Finisher, you will be responsible for completing the final stages of production on various surfaces and materials. This may include sanding, polishing, staining, and sealing to achieve a smooth and flawless finish. You will work closely with other team members to ensure that our clients' expectations are met or exceeded. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be crucial in this role.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for finishing by cleaning, sanding, and filling any imperfections
- Apply stains, paints, or sealants according to established procedures
- Use various tools such as sanders, brushes, and sprayers to achieve desired finish
- Check finished product for quality and make any necessary touch-ups
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Communicate with team members to ensure efficient workflow
- Adhere to safety procedures at all times

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Finisher or in a similar role
- Knowledge of different types of finishes and techniques for different materials
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
- Attention to detail and ability to identify imperfections in the finish
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods of time
- Flexibility to work overtime when needed

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with wood finishes is highly desirable
- Certification or training in finishing techniques
- Experience using spray guns or other specialized finishing equipment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings
