Dismantler - Contract Position in Los Angeles, USA
Our company is currently seeking a skilled Dismantler to join our team in Los Angeles on a contract basis. As a Dismantler, you will be responsible for disassembling and removing parts from vehicles, ensuring that all parts are properly identified and organized for inventory purposes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Disassemble vehicles using hand tools and power tools in a safe and efficient manner
- Identify usable and non-usable parts, separating them accordingly
- Keep track of inventory by labeling and organizing parts properly
- Follow safety procedures and regulations at all times while handling hazardous materials
- Work efficiently to meet production quotas while maintaining quality standards
- Communicate with team members to ensure proper workflow and organization within the dismantling department
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dismantler or similar role in the automotive industry
- Knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in vehicle disassembly
- Ability to read and understand technical diagrams and instructions
- Proficient in identifying different types of vehicle parts
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with Japanese/European/American vehicles preferred but not required
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
Salary: $1300 per week
