Executive Chef
We are seeking an experienced and talented Executive Chef to oversee our kitchen operations in Al-Rayyan. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating innovative and delicious dishes, as well as a strong leadership skills and a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and create menus that are both creative and cost-effective
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including ordering supplies, managing inventory, and ensuring cleanliness and sanitation standards are met
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and other team members
- Monitor food quality and presentation to maintain high standards
- Collaborate with the restaurant manager to ensure a smooth operation of the establishment
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate them into menu development
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting
- Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or related field
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a team
- Excellent time management abilities
- Creative mindset with strong knowledge of current food trends
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent English communication skills
Salary: $1300 USD per month (negotiable based on experience)
