Pastry Chef - Lusail, Qatar
A prestigious restaurant in Lusail is seeking an experienced and talented Pastry Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating delicious and visually appealing desserts and pastries, as well as a strong knowledge of pastry techniques and ingredients. We are looking for someone who can bring creativity, innovation, and attention to detail to our kitchen.
Responsibilities:
- Create and execute new dessert menus that align with the restaurant's concept and standards
- Prepare a variety of desserts, including cakes, pastries, tarts, and other sweet treats
- Ensure all desserts are made with high quality ingredients and presented beautifully
- Work closely with the kitchen team to coordinate dessert orders with main courses
- Train and supervise junior pastry cooks in proper preparation techniques
- Maintain a clean and organized pastry station at all times
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel
- Strong understanding of various pastry techniques, including baking, decorating, and plating
- Knowledge of current food trends and ability to create unique desserts that stand out
- Excellent time management skills to ensure desserts are prepared on time for service
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for food and creativity
Salary: 1200$ per month (tax-free)
