Restaurant Manager for Malayalees in Muscat
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee our restaurant in Muscat. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring excellent customer service, and maximizing profits. This is an English speaking job open to Malayalees who have at least 2 years of experience in restaurant management. This is a temporary position without accommodation.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the restaurant including staff, budget, and inventory
- Train and supervise staff to ensure high-quality customer service
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability
- Monitor and maintain quality standards for food, service, cleanliness, and safety
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues effectively
- Optimize stock levels and control costs to meet budget goals
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to create new menu items and specials
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Restaurant Manager in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Excellent communication skills in English (Malayalam preferred)
- Knowledge of inventory management, cost control, and budgeting principles
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with ease
- Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional service
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Salary:
This is a temporary position paying $1600 per month.
