Head Chef - International Cuisine (Mecca, Saudi Arabia)
Our luxury hotel in Mecca is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to lead our international cuisine team. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing menus that showcase the best of international cuisine while also ensuring the highest quality and standards are maintained.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and develop menus featuring a variety of international cuisines to cater to diverse tastes and preferences
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring smooth and efficient service
- Train, supervise, and manage a team of chefs, cooks, and kitchen staff
- Maintain food quality and safety standards at all times
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Create new dishes and update existing menu items based on seasonal ingredients and customer feedback
- Work closely with other departments to plan events and special menus
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience as an Executive or Head Chef in a high-end hotel or restaurant setting
- Expertise in preparing different types of international cuisines including Western, Middle Eastern, Asian, etc.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Creativity in developing new dishes while also maintaining classic menu items
Education:
A degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or a related field is preferred but not required. Relevant work experience will be considered.
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary package of 1500$ per month along with free visa sponsorship and airfare.
