A reputable company in Los Angeles is seeking a skilled Web Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites, from layout to function and according to our clients' specifications. You will also be involved in the development of new website features and maintenance of existing websites.

Responsibilities:
- Designing, coding, and modifying websites from layout to function
- Collaborating with clients to understand their needs and provide effective solutions
- Creating website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices
- Integrating data from various back-end services and databases
- Building responsive websites that are compatible with multiple devices and browsers
- Ensuring high-performance and availability of websites
- Implementing security measures to protect the website against cyber attacks
- Staying up-to-date with emerging web technologies and industry trends

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven working experience as a Web Developer for at least 2 years
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development languages
- Experience with content management systems such as WordPress and Drupal is preferred
- Familiarity with SEO principles and ensuring website optimization for search engines
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of 1400$ per month for this position.

Location:
This job is based in Los Angeles but can also be done remotely. We welcome candidates of all nationalities who can work remotely.

Contract Type:
This is a contract position with the possibility of extension based on performance.
