Senior Accountant


We are a well-established company in Al-Khor, seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial records and transactions of our company. Your main duties will include preparing accurate financial statements, analyzing budgets and forecasts, and providing financial advice to management.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Accountant
- Proven experience with financial reporting and analysis
- Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in using accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP

Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements according to GAAP standards
- Analyze financial data for discrepancies and errors, investigating any variances
- Create budgets and forecasts for the company's financial performance
- Provide recommendations to management based on financial analysis
- Ensure compliance with all accounting principles, regulations, laws, and policies
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes including invoicing, payments, and collections
- Oversee the preparation of tax returns and coordinate with external auditors during audits
- Train and supervise junior accounting staff
