Head Chef - International Cuisine


Our 5-star luxury hotel in Khasab is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team and create exceptional dining experiences for our guests. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation and presentation, menu planning, and kitchen operations.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end hotel or restaurant
- Extensive knowledge and experience in international cuisine, with a focus on Egyptian or Filipino cuisine preferred
- Ability to manage and train a diverse team of chefs and kitchen staff
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Must have full-time availability and be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Responsibilities:
- Develop creative menus that showcase the best of Egyptian/Filipino cuisine while also catering to international tastes
- Oversee all food preparation, ensuring high quality standards are consistently met
- Train kitchen staff on proper food handling, cooking techniques, and safety procedures
- Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed while minimizing waste
- Collaborate with other departments to plan special events or promotions
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times
- Monitor food costs to ensure profitability without compromising quality
- Stay current on industry trends and make recommendations for menu updates

Salary:
Our company offers a competitive salary of $1000 per month for this full-time position.

Location:
This position is located in Khasab, Oman. We welcome applicants from any nationality who have the required experience in Egyptian or Filipino cuisine.

Note: Visa sponsorship is available for qualified candidates who do not already have their own visa. This is not an entry-level position; applicants must have at least 12 years of education (equivalent to a high school diploma).
