Metal Fabricator

A metal fabricator is responsible for creating, repairing, and assembling metal parts and structures using various tools and techniques. They work with a variety of metals, including steel, aluminum, and copper, to create products such as fences, gates, railings, and machinery components. The ideal candidate for this role should have experience in welding, cutting, and shaping metal using specialized equipment. They should also be able to read blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accuracy in their work. Strong attention to detail and physical strength are essential qualities for a metal fabricator. This job may require the use of heavy machinery and working in confined spaces. The salary for this position is $1300 per month.

Located in Washington D.C., our company is seeking a Metal Fabricator who is proficient in English and has experience working with metals. This position is open to Indian nationals who have their own valid visa or are looking for employment opportunities while studying in the United States.

Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications
- Cut, shape, weld, and assemble metal parts according to specifications
- Use hand tools such as saws, grinders, shears, and drills
- Operate heavy machinery such as presses and rollers
- Perform quality checks on finished products
- Repair damaged or defective metal parts as needed
- Follow safety guidelines at all times
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects within given deadlines

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a metal fabricator or similar role
- Proficiency in English (verbal and written)
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience using welding equipment (MIG/TIG)
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
- Attention to detail
- Good problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures
