Hotel Sales Manager in Bungoma, Kenya

We are currently hiring a Hotel Sales Manager to join our team in Bungoma, Kenya. As a Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our hotel's services and facilities to potential clients. This is a contract position with a salary of 1700$, and no previous experience is required. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients. You will also need to be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Promote and sell hotel services and facilities to potential clients through various channels such as phone calls, emails, and face-to-face meetings.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities.
- Create sales strategies and plans to achieve revenue targets.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments such as marketing, events, and operations to ensure successful execution of sales initiatives.
- Attend industry events and networking opportunities to generate leads.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred.
- Proven work experience as a Sales Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry.
- Excellent communication skills in English (Swahili proficiency is a plus).
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to persuade potential clients.
- Highly organized with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work evenings or weekends when needed.
