Executive Chef - Indian Cuisine
We are seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Al Buraymi, Oman. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations and ensuring that all dishes are prepared and presented to the highest quality and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and create menus featuring authentic Indian cuisine
- Train and manage kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and assistants
- Monitor food inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen
- Collaborate with restaurant management to plan seasonal specials and promotions
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting
- Extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine, including traditional cooking methods and spices
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory and ordering
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Salary: 1600$ per month
Location: Al Buraymi, Oman
Contract Type: Full-time, with accommodation provided
