Glazier Technician



We are seeking a skilled Glazier Technician to join our team in Wiltz. As a Glazier Technician, you will be responsible for installing and repairing glass in various structures such as buildings, homes, and vehicles. Your main duties will include measuring and cutting glass to fit specific dimensions, removing old or broken glass, and installing new glass using various tools and techniques.

The ideal candidate for this role should have prior experience working as a Glazier or in a related field. You must have excellent hand-eye coordination, physical strength, and the ability to work on ladders and scaffolding. Attention to detail is crucial in this profession as even the slightest mistake can result in improper installation or breakage of glass.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut glass according to specified dimensions
- Remove old or broken glass from structures using hand tools
- Install new glass using various techniques such as glazing putty, rubber gaskets, or metal strips
- Use power tools such as drills and saws to cut holes for hinges or handles
- Repair or replace damaged frames or hardware
- Ensure proper insulation and weatherproofing of installed glass
- Clean up work area after completion of job
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions accordingly

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Glazier Technician or similar role
- Physical strength and ability to work on ladders and scaffolding
- Proficient in using hand tools such as cutters, pliers, and screwdrivers
- Familiarity with power tools such as drills and saws
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
