Back-End Developer for Contract Position in St-Petersburg

As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the server-side logic of our web applications. Your primary focus will be to ensure high performance and responsiveness of our applications, while also collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of server-side programming languages and frameworks, as well as experience working with databases and web services. Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain server-side logic for web applications
- Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements
- Implement data storage solutions using databases or other appropriate technologies
- Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
- Optimize application performance through code refactoring, troubleshooting, and debugging
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in back-end development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role
- Strong understanding of server-side programming languages such as Java or Python
- Experience working with database technologies such as MySQL or MongoDB
- Proficient in web service development (RESTful APIs)
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal (English)

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on agile teams using Scrum or Kanban methodologies
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
